  • NAMI South Suburbs of Chicago will host a Vendor Resource Table at this Conference

    Join us for the 10th Annual Mental Health Conference: The Many Faces of Mental Health, where we will explore the diverse aspects of mental health. This in-person event will take place on Thursday, May 16, 2024, starting at 8 a.m. Hosted in the Prairie State College Conference Center, this conference aims to bring together professionals, researchers, and individuals interested in mental health. Through engaging presentations, interactive workshops, and insightful discussions, we will delve into the various dimensions of mental health. Topics to be covered include understanding different mental health conditions, promoting mental well-being, destigmatizing mental health, and exploring innovative approaches to treatment and support. Attendees will have the opportunity to learn from experts in the field, share experiences, and network with like-minded individuals. Whether you are a mental health professional, a student, or someone passionate about mental health, this conference offers a valuable platform to gain knowledge, exchange ideas, and contribute to the ongoing conversation surrounding mental health.   • NAMI South Suburbs of Chicago is hosting their 3rd Annual Mind In Motion: Moving For Mental Health Resource Fair and Fundraiser. This is a family fun event in celebration of Mental Health Awareness Month.

    The NAMI Minds in Motion: Moving for Mental Health event is a dynamic celebration in honor of Mental Health Awareness Month! Join us for a day filled with physical activities, informative sessions, and community connection. This event is designed to promote mental wellness through engaging activities and valuable resources.

  • Mental Health Awareness 2024 Walk-A-Thon Fundraiser in County Club Hills. Registration at the football field house on the east side of the park. Drinking water will be provided for all registrants. All proceeds will be donated to NAMI South Suburbs of Chicago.

    Date: Saturday June 8th

    Time: 8:30aam Walk starts at 9:45am

    Location: County Club Hills Community Park 175th Street - East of Cicero - West of Pulaski (Next to the Fire Station)

    Registration: $35 for Adults $25 for Children (17 years and under) t-shirts are included for al registrants.

    Vendor Sponsorship: $100 to be a vendor (includes t-shirts with your logo on t-shirts)
